first up, the owner. What an embarrasment. “i want to se Martinez in my office on monday to put cards on table, but his head aint on the block because he’s done great things for this club”….. go on Dave, tell me one of them. With the exeption of Ali Habbs, all signings are poor, and it was Jewell who got us to a major cup final. Sammon is THE worst forward ive ever seen.Gomez is THE worst midfeilder ive ever seen. Time for uncle Dave to start putting up now insted of threatening to sign a quality player with actual money.

with the exeption of ali, alcaraz, boyce and believe it or not Caldwell, not one of the players deserved to be on the pitch. Gomez must be shagging martinez, its the only reason i can see for him wearing a shirt. IM better that that spanish prick. Carl H is a better forward than both conner and deflecto, hugo is not much better if any better at all. why is calum mac still not getting a game? Moses is far too gready and watson is as useful as a kick in the bollocks.I am sick to death of walking away from the ground feeling depressed. I dont mind losing when the team has made an effort, put the boot in, sweated some blood….. but no. they think they are real feccing madrid. time to go martinez, i hope you get sacked on monday then i dont have to get arrested for foul and abusive language on monday night. You was a legend with me as one of the amigos….. now your an embarrasment to my club.

That’s a bold statement. Is he really worse than say, Stefan Bidstrup or Alan McLoughlin even.
Granted, Caldwell has been outstanding recently, however none of our central back “3” closed their striker down for the first goal. In my book, that is bad defending.Thats quite funny that Mitty.

In my book, that is bad defending.To be fair to the defence on this occasion we had a bunch of forwards and a midfield who let a centre half not known for his culture on the ball run 30 yards and pick a pass where hehad another 5 options on the go!
Thats a fair point. But it still shouldn’t stop a defender closing the man down. They are paid their wages to defend, which none of them did.
If somebody at your workplace was not doing their job, that doesn’t mean you don’t have to do yours does it?
As i said earlier though, Caldwell has been our most consistant performer recently so we shouldn’t crucify him or the rest for that matter but it has cost us dear.It’s not quite as simple though. Alcaraz comes out to the ball when he realises what’s going on and then there’s a massive gap behind him. It still had to be finished but 30 seconds before half time you expect the team to do their jobs. The defensive positioning looks horrific when you see the options their centre half had but that’s more down to us not working from the front, probably at a time when Di Santo was still throwing a paddy on the right. I don’t think the defence actually did that bad yesterday.
