I believe the lodgers have already finished their season. That’s good the pitch should get a chance to improve over the winter.

To be fair its been OK since they last re-laid it. Apparently they dug right down and sorted the drainage out. It does seem a bit harder and compact now than it did.

Had to laugh at Hull watering their pitch yesterday when it was absolutely pishing down. Whats all that about? :roll:

i wasnt aware the pitch was in a bad state anyway :? i think its been exellant in comparison to other seasons but the winter months will certainly test it, not that the winter ever went away mind.
