More games televised on SKY and therefore more money. They should have boycotted them, nit rewarded them
Away a lot, but always watching
21 April 2021 at 5:13 pm #192357Its the owners that should be hit hard in the pocket not the manager, players and certainly not the fans of these clubs.
The fans didn’t want it, the managers and players came out and publicly slated the people that pay their wages for this ridiculous idea.Good on them i say!
Fuck the EFL
25 April 2021 at 3:47 am #192395I am / was all for the ESL. Yes honest. But with a two conditions. They can go to their ESL only on the condition that 1. They leave their domestic league. 2. If they ever want to return to their domestic league, they have to do what every other club has to do …. apply and then start at the bottom.
Top of the league teams left their fans behind years ago.
25 April 2021 at 8:46 am #192398Premier League rules state that 14/20 need to approve a motion. The excluded 14 should introduce a rule that states:
A club will forfeit membership of the premier league if they compete in a competition that is not approved by the Premier League, the FA, the EFL, UEFA or FIFA.
If the EFL did likewise, then those 6 would have a choice of competing as they do now or playing in the ESL and nowhere else.
28 April 2021 at 3:08 pm #192444Money grabbing bastards.
If the English ones said they’d have pumped a percentage into lower leagues and grass roots, they might have got some tiny bit of support.Away a lot, but always watching

Funny how the PM with everything currently going on could find time inside 24 hours to meet fans of the “big” 6. Aside from Lisa Nandy nobody in any position gave two hoots about us.
28 April 2021 at 8:36 pm #192453The Mail article hits a few nails on the head about what happened. And not enough people in the game cared outside us and the genuine football fans who donated.

Nandy was only involved for her own agenda and to get her mate Pollard the thing he craves most… the stadium.
Neither care two hoots for Wigan Athletic.Fuck the EFL

Neither care two hoots for Wigan Athletic.Spot on, even Nandy didn’t really give two flying fcuks, she had her own hidden agenda.
No fines, nothing for the big 6 and these “******* out!!” banners at the respective clubs will be piled high at the side of each of the ground bins.
They should fine each club £50 million and put it into lower League football but will they ?.
You’ve more chance of platting a turd -
