As last time, I really can’t make my mind up who I want. On balance, if I had to pick right now, I think I’d pick Phelan.
Rules of the poll:-
1) It is not who do you think will be the next manager, rather who would you like to be the next manager.
2) Don’t offer anything by way of explanation. Just vote, but you can optionally add the name of the manager you have chosen if you want people to know.
3) If you want none of the 4 above, state the name of your preferred manager. As in 2) though, don’t add anything else. I’m not remotely interested in what you have to say ;)

4 December 2013 at 2:11 pm #124344So, completely ignoring point 2 (Don’t offer anything by way of explanation. Just vote, but you can optionally add the name of the manager you have chosen if you want people to know):
I like the thought of a Phelan bringing some of United’s principles to the club, but Holloway has freely admitted to being a big admirer of Martinez’s way of playing football – and that’s what he tries to instil in his teams, albeit with varying success.
On the balance of it, I’d be happiest if Phelan got the job, but would not be that disappointed if Holloway got it either.
I think it would be a huge step backwards if Jewell was even considered.

On balance, I never thought you woul be the first one to fail to grasp the thread rules ;)

It’s the word ‘silent’ that threw me. Not a word I’m associated with.4 December 2013 at 4:47 pm #124351ole gunnar solskjaer
