Nickname for Roberto Martinez as another 6 million is wasted ! Kone out for rest of season and will more than likely never be seen in an Everton shirt again ! All sounds a little familiar ! I know it wasn’t dollars but you get the gist ! :cheer:
26 November 2013 at 3:04 pm #123822To be fair it isn’t as though he bought him and didn’t use him – that may have been considered a waste. Kone has an injury – could happen to anyone. I don’t think you can pin that on Martinez wasting money.

I don’t think you can pin that on Martinez wasting money.I wasnt referring to his injury as the cause of the waste of money, he has been a flop so far by all accounts and I just think that the injury will now see him disappear into oblivion where Everton are concerned !
26 November 2013 at 3:15 pm #123824A great shame for Kone. Everton will just have to get by with Lukaku.
What are your Everton friends saying about Roberto now, Phil?

So why mention the injury at all? Surely if it was as bad a buy as you say and he was already such a flop, then the money spent was already a waste?
The tacit implication is that had he not got injured he may have actually proved not to be a waste of money.
This Martinez baiting is getting very tedious now. I don’t know who you think you are winding up or annoying because every single crticism you all come up with gets logically, reasonable and calmly batted back at you.
You lot need to calm down. You’re all too old to be getting this het up
27 November 2013 at 12:35 pm #123871I would have Martinez back in a flash….I don’t get this Bob bashing going on here…arguably one of the best managers in our history. The downheartedness I feel at the moment with our current management and the way we play is unbelievable….if only we kept Ramis, Caldwell and Alcaraz fit all season, it would have been a different storey maybe…
Roll on the next 6 months then we can remove the incumbent management and push for promotion back to the Prem.
[quite poetic for a Wednesday morning B) ]
27 November 2013 at 5:16 pm #123880Half-season tickets now on sale at Everton for those who can’t let go of Bob.
I remember when we used to rely on good football rather than good fortune.
(If only Fortune was good!)

I mentioned the injury because it will see him well and truly into the wilderness as far as his Everton career is concerned, in other words he wont be seen again playing for Everton’s first team ! I also have another criticism and that is your spelling of it ! ;) Bloody rubbish author ! ;)
