It’s not the first of April La. Just thing McManaman back and first match of season away at Newcastle!
I’ll get the ball rolling, Callum McManaman could be on his way back to Wigan Athletic.Yep, was mentioned in the corporate hospitality circles at the Barnsley game.
Vuckic, McAleny and Warnock have all spoke of a desire to stay with us next season.
Are they good enough? Can we afford them? Do we want them?Warnock is a no-brainer, decent player, got a lot of experience and seems a decent sort who fits in with the togetherness that this squad seems to have.
Like Vuckic, seems to be a very skilful player, not sure if he delivers everything he’s capable of but I’d have him back..possibly on loan.
Not convinced about McAleny, handy player to keep an eye on if he’s available later in the season, but not sure he offers enough for us to give a permanent contract to.

Somehow i can’t see Caldwell bringing back McManaman and risk him upsetting the apple cart, plus he’s a bit of a liability at times. Nah stay well clear!

I would imagine he is focused on getting in Wales Euro squad right now.

According to runcorn 1978, Stephen Fletcher is available on a free at the end of the month. Caldwell is showing interest & seems keen on pairing him up with grigg.
Surprised nobody’s said it, but the wages Fletcher must be on surely means there’s more chance of us signing *Norman Stanley Fletcher
