Sunderland had a big mudslide day too.

How about those little blue three wheel invalid carriages that were aloud on the touch line at springy. As lads we used to call them Spaz Chariots ! When the football blasted into them, it must have been like landing back on earth in a space capsule.

Getting licked at Victory Park 5-4 in The NPL Cup first round. latics fans running down Duke Street singing ‘WE’RE THE TOP OF THE LEAGUE’ It was about three games into the 68/69 season or around that time. Around 6000 on at Victory Park that night.
