Nob End fans crying at Deepdale, when we sent em down !That was a great day that. They pulled it back to 2-2 and thought they were safe only for us to score another 3 to make it 2-5.
At the final whistle their PA announced they were safe anyway as one of the other teams had lost anyway, and their players and fans were celebrating. Two minutes later the news came through that the other team had scored a very late equaliser and it meant that PNE were actually relegated.
I can still see their fans in the paddock to our left falling to their knees when they realised, and grown men actually crying.
