What a journey!Well, John.
Being of a certain age that grew up with this song I was ready to be hypercritical of a remake by someone who, in my view, would struggle to get through the metal detectors at Manchester Airport.
But I was blown away by this. Possibly (I’ll stick at “possibly”, let’s not get carried away) better than the original.

Glad you like it George, like you, I grew up with S & G and still rate “The Boxer” in my top 10 songs of all time.
I never get bored with listening this song, not sure I like all the Disturbed albums though, quite a lot of their songs reflect how Dave Draiman looks. :woohoo:
I think its credit due to Draiman here, for stepping out his comfort zone to record this song. Whatever Genre of music you like, there will be specific parts of this arrangement of the Sound of Silence, that everyone will like.

What a journey!Mmmmm, not sure jr, I think certain songs should never be copied. Great arrangements and the guy can sing but it doesn’t feel like he should be doing it. A bit like when Annie Lennox did Whiter Shade Of Pale yes we know she’s a superstar but it was a case of Annie don’t just don’t.
