It’s quite heart breaking to watch you slowly making a bigger and bigger berk of yourself. Why don’t you quit until you get it?

It’s getting quite tedious now. Concise grammar has its merits, but surely it’s more relevant to get ideas across rather than checking every post to ensure it’s grammatically correct? Pedantry has its place, but I’m not sure if it’s on a football forum like this.

It’s means “it is”. Its meaning “belonging to it” doesn’t have an apostrophe. You wouldn’t write “hi’s own thread” – it should be “its own thread”.
So, I’m afraid you got it wrong. Griff picked it up. And I’m afraid that despite what you may think I have my own mind, and recognised your error too.
If you look at all the posts since, from Griff, SW and myself, you will find they are littered with “it’s” and “its” – all in the correct places.
