That name change to wigan rah rah’s is getting closer by the day my porkers. We may get relegated this season, but we won’t sell our ass to a rival sport. enjoy the pimms and strawberry’s & cream in the south stand next season my dear rupert

22 November 2011 at 1:04 am #74858Not Sam Tomlinson its “RATBOY”.
22 November 2011 at 1:17 am #74859I’ve only had a very quick glance at this but this quote hit me in the eye:
The depressing truth is that Sam will receive more mentions in the national media due to his participation in a meaningless exhibition game than he has over his whole career winning trophies and performing for his national team.
That both saddens and angers me no end.
Maybe that’s because rugby union is a bigger sport than rugby league?
Maybe no-one cares what trophies he has won in a second-rate sport?

at last – somebody on my wavelength who can see the light. Although this baffles me, do rugger league players know the rules of union or do they just learn as they play…………Footballers don’t know the rules of, for instance Gaelic football??????
just a thought like. You just know for a fact that some gripping aussie is gonna press all 21stone on top of him……..what they tubbies gonna do then?????
If i wasn’t going up to sunderland, i may have watched it for the comedy value
22 November 2011 at 10:10 pm #74882Footballers don’t know the rules of, for instance Gaelic football??????In David Jones’ case it appeared he didnt know the rules of football when he tried beheadding Paul Robinson last Saturday.
Still, at least November isnt pointless, unlike September & October.

Whilst your here mc’rah rah. if your “gigantes” fans want some ideas to nick off wendyball for the south stand. watch napoli v city after. an atmosphere and choreography (as the italians call it) rugger can only dream of…….ENJOY. (don’t agree with all the slashing’s that have gone on though)
23 November 2011 at 4:52 pm #74924I have to say that mutty reminds of one of those fish in the canal that keeps getting caught and thrown back into the water. Then the numb git can’t resist biting at the same hook with the same bait as every other time it’s bit and been caught and off it goes again. And we all know it will come back next time dropped in the water.
24 November 2011 at 12:21 am #74943It seems like the rah rah’s and wendyball do have something in common after all:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_union/15859244.stm
A number of England’s World Cup players were “more focused on money than getting the rugby right”, according to leaked reports published in The Times.
Maybe ratboy will be able to show them what loyalty and being proud of playing for your home-town club for a fraction of the potential wages is about.

I agree as a ‘Rah Rah’ player me’sen, union is a bigger sport, but I disagree that ‘Rat Boy’ will follow family suit. He’ll go to australia NRL B4 Rah Rah. And wigan already have a rah rah team and if whealan doesn’t further invest, then Our beloved latics will be playing in the equivalent football leagues.

Mr Whelan won’t be investing further, hence why the club are cutting their cloth accordingly.
