8 June 2010 at 3:00 pm #36266Am I the only one not to be in the slightest bit interested?I think I’m the most unpatriotic man who lives in this royal throne of kings, this sceptered isle, this earth of majesty, this seat of Mars, this other Eden…… this blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England.
(Wipes a solitary tear away and salutes)

8 June 2010 at 3:25 pm #36268At least mean it if you aint bothered and dont start wearing your colours if we start doing well proffessing your undying love for the boys it pi$$es me off when you see everybody going mental when we win who normally wouldnt give a flyer about football. If you are a true football fan and never been to an England game all I can say is your missing out. I worship the national team and was an England member for a few years and cant wait to see the countrys finest just get behind the lads if your a football nut

I guess i dont do the nationalist flag waving thing.Take England out of the equation, the world cup has got memories for all football fans, although some wil probably love the chance to hate it for the sake of not hating Jason Scotland for a month or so…..

I admitt I really don’t care what happen’s.
But I will be wearing my colours and will ‘go mental’ if we win, as I want us to win (I wouldn’t be confessing my undying love for ‘the boys’ regardless of what happens)… It’s just that I really don’t care that much if we don’t…Would much prefer to watch the latics line up against any given team and win than watch England do that!8 June 2010 at 7:07 pm #36329Anonymous

isn’t that where Garsewood got his Range Rover from ?8 June 2010 at 10:28 pm #36401Not got a Range Rover – wouldn’t have one.
On topic though, I heard today of Americans who were asked about who they thought would win and said that either Inter Milan or Barcelona would. Another knew that Man United would be playing, but wasn’t sure whether they were at home on Saturday.
Beats the complaint a few years ago when some American moaned they’d be playing Trinidad & Tobago, when everyone else just had to play one team.
