Just saw a banner headline on BBC saying that Wigan had signed a trio of players from Melbourne but realised it was the rugby.
They’ll at least feel at home, swapping one salary cap cheating club for another :shock:
The interesting thing about it when it broke, was the players actually thought they hadnt done anything wrong !!!
Local lads again I see :roll:Eleven players in Wigans team on Friday either Wigan born and/or Wigan academy trained.
Seventeen players appeared in the first team this season either Wigan born and/or Wigan academy trained.
Eight local juniors signed in the last two weeks.
So please tell me how many Wigan born and/or Wigan academy trained players played for Wigan Athletic last season?
How many English players played for Wigan Athletic last season?
How many overseas players played for Wigan Athletic last season?
