Jamie’s doing fine at the moment. If you’re going to analyse one (potential) error, and personally I thought it was a great strike, then we need to analyse those in front of him first.
I’ve always said that a mistake by a goalkeepr is remembered for ever, a mistake by a striker sticks in the memory for a while if we lose, but a mistake by a midfielder is completely forgotten.
20 November 2017 at 10:45 am #163451Probably need to be four as can’t see Powell making it. Not sure I’d stick Roberts in. Could stick with Massey and play Jacobs just behind.
20 November 2017 at 11:02 am #163452There isn’t really anyone to replace Powell though unless Evans played in a more attacking mid-field roll. He certainly moved forward like lightning for the first goal against Crawley.

20 November 2017 at 7:50 pm #163464Could play anyone but it wouldnt replace Powell. Colclough for Massey ok, Grigg for Prop ok, James for Elder ok but Powell is a class above any other of the midfield.

Colclough for Massey ok, Grigg for Prop ok, James for Elder ok but Powell is a class above any other of the midfield. He is probably a class above any midfielder in the league nevermind Wigan, but someone will have to come in, and Roberts would be my choice.
21 November 2017 at 2:06 am #163469How about pushing Morsy into the three with Colclough and Jacobs and two of Perkins Power or Evans as the two defensive midfielders.
21 November 2017 at 12:09 pm #163475How about pushing Morsy into the three with Colclough and Jacobs and two of Perkins Power or Evans as e two defensive midfielders. Why play 2 defensive midfielders at home? Could be the reason we ain’t scoring freely.
21 November 2017 at 12:46 pm #163476Not saying that off one incident George not rated him all season. He doesn’t come off his line and when he does he punches…badly. the goals against is looking good due to those in front of him IMO.

Personally I think he’s OK, and I quite like him, but we can just agree to disagree.
Oh no – hang on – this is CL. Aren’t I supposed to hurl abuse at you and tell you that you don’t have a clue? Or something like that ;)
