      Just watched the girls beat hosts Canada to put us in the semi final of the world cup. Now I know most guys don’t rate womens football but after the 21.s debacle in the mens game maybe the best chance that we have at International level lies with the lasses. Japan up next and with the Krauts and Yanks in the other semi it is unlikely that we will triumph but at least the girls are still in with a chance so get behind the ladies and hope.

          There are a few players there that Gary and Caldwell should be looking to sign. Some great crosses in to the box and some stunning Jordi Gomezesque shots from distance.

                Their return to England made me chuckle, people getting their autographs when won’t recognise any of them in a couple of days when they bump trolleys in Asda.
