Six tickets for block 510 sitting proudly on the fireplace, its not sunk in proper yet, I keep smiling at them, we’re going to effing Wembley…………..again.
We not good enough for pre match drinks these days then ?
We’ve gone up market mate, going in Sharpys and having some dinner as well.
We may start having prawn sandwiches next season.
I’ll try to get in before the Spurs game if you’ll allow me.

Depending on which steward you spoke to this morning Latics had sold between 13,800-15,000 tickets before the ticket office opened up this morning
Make that 13,801-15,001. Just bought mine :) .Now off to Aer Lingus.
I would imagine you can add a few seeing as those figures were before the ticket office opened for general sale. I know a couple of people that went that morning and got half a dozen tickets each. I would guess the figures now would be between 15k and 17k. No doubt we’ll have the urine extracted, but would we really have expected us to sell many more for a semi final?

I have sent an email to ticket office seeing if they can give me any indication on how many we have sold, i am also very surprised thought a lot more would go

This is just a wild stab in the dark but, with a name like Tipperary Latic, I’d suggest he might have booked online, rather than queue up at the ticket office. ;)
Has it ever occurred to anyone that the thought of EVERY single person who strolls up to the ticket office asking the same question “how many have we sold”, may start to wear thin with them, a bit like groundhog day……and you lot wonder why they’re always in a bad mood!!!!
we’ve sold 15,000….trust me, i know (i’m right all the time)…end of

Nearly right Griff, bought ticket by phone in a minute, no wait at all. I have to pick ticket up at Wembley. They won’t post it to me as we don’t have post codes here. I don’t quite understand that policy. Just because we don’t have post code doesn’t mean we don’t have a decent postal system

When me & my mates got there at 6am, no there wasn’t and to be honest there wasn’t really any sort of queue till about 8am. By the time the ticket office opened up at just gone 9am the queue was up to the entrance to the Marquee.
The senior steward said they’d been expecting similar numbers than they’d had the previous Sunday
And before anyone takes the pish that i got there at 6 ;) I only did so coz we needed a group of tickets altogether, none of us could get down during the week & it wouldn’t have been possible to get the group together over the phone or online. Plus my wife was readying up the rusty razor for use on my knackers if I wasn’t back for a set time for the family do!!
EDIT – and for those complaining that the late buyers are getting better seats, they must have changed how they’re selling em if it was restricted last Sunday coz we were told we could have them anywhere we wanted other than block 111 which was sold out. You told em which block you wanted, the price you wanted & whereabouts within the block you wanted em & some lad went scurrying off into the back & dug out ones closest to where you’d asked for. Which I have to say he did pretty well at as we got block 113 & about 40 rows up

I saw the word rusty and…..I just thought she was really pleased you’d got the tickets and was preparing a special reward for you when you got home.
