They’ve just dropped through the letter box!

      Very exciting…all present and correct!

Impressed again with the ticket office efficiency, just like they were for the semi final. goodpost

Sure beats queuing up at 4am

I was just about to post exactly the same.

      Very efficient!

To be fair I did sit in my hall since 11:30 last night, with a thermos flask and a garden chair.

It was worth it in the end.

Personally, I don’t have a pc in my home.

So really, I didn’t have a choice whether I queued or not.

Now, I am glad for you your tickets have arrived. Seriously. But I reckon after watching Latics for 27 years, 5 and half hours stood queuing for FA Cup final tickets was nothing. Im glad I put the effort in

I don’t think there’s any need for people being smug about buying online. Wholly do! You have a computer. From what I’ve heard, it wasn’t that easy for some folk, due to a busy server and technical difficulties.

I expect nearly everyone who queued up actually enjoyed it. We dont get the chance to look forward to something very often and anything you can do to make the experience more enjoyable is worth it.

Christmas wouldnt be half the fun (it isnt fun but thats not the point) if you could have it tomorrow without the anticipation.

Id rather have the memory of being in a queue for 5 hours getting cold and remembering what it was like to finally get to the front and hold the ticket for our first FA Cup final than tearing open an envelope when it comes through the letter box.

I’ve never seen such arguments over ticket purchasing methods. It’s bloody hilarious.

Seriously, give it a rest. Those who wanted to queue did, those who wanted to buy online did. Why the hell does it matter?

I’m sure I read somewhere that you’re a solicitor and I guess this post proves it, falling just short of ‘I rest my case’ ;) . Are you sure you’re a solicitor and not a barrister? :)

I put it to you that you are correct in that assertion.

I saw some folk kiss their tickets as they walked away from ticket office, such was the gladness in which they were obtained.
