Andy Morris19 April 2015 at 12:46 pm #141440Egg came up with a name of two players (cant remember their names) – one who’d played once in a league cup tie and once in an end-of season game about 8 years ago, but this one is the first Wiganer to have scored for his home town club for many many years.
Pleasing to see a local lad playing for his local club. I hope he has many more days like yesterday.

I remember Andy Morris scoring in a cup game about 13 years ago. Small, quick left winger but with not much end product. However i think it was an auto windscreens shields match. If i remember rightly he scored in extra time to win it. Might have been Blackpool

19 April 2015 at 2:16 pm #141451Brilliant that he is a Wiganer and let’s hope we see more of the development lads getting chances in the team as his performance was superb yesterday and he gave 100%.
