I’m actually getting tired of all the complaining. Not just here but at the games as well.

I would prefer to be in a 10,000 crowd and not have to listen to all this nonsense. Over the years I have been proud of our supporters but something has gone wrong recently and, for me, that is far more worrying than how the team is playing. This season we have played some great stuff but we are growing as a team in the hardest league in the world so it will be a struggle.

Who are these people who whinge from the moment the ball is kicked off? In fact I’ve heard moans as the team comes out of the tunnel this year. For God’s sake give them a chance.

It is making going to matches hard work, because I seriously feel like punching folk for their idiotic comments. One guy in East 6 was bigging up the fact that he could do a better job than Martinez. Nobody stood up to him and he ended up actually believing his own nonsense in the end. It was truly embarrassing.

We badly need a campaign to get behind the team over the coming months. Perhaps CL or the supporters club could organise something to get some real support going. It is possible, at times yesterday there was a real buzz as we got behind the team. But as soon as a pass went astray… it’s a good job Messi doesn’t play here. He’d have to be perfect.

This team is lacking confidence. If the moaners cannot see that then they are not supporters of Wigan Athletic.

Absolutely agree with your post. I think the club is trying to generate some noise from supporters, the flags were a nice idea.

But how about getting a rabble rouser with a mic on the pitch before the games and at half time to get the fans fired up, try to get a few songs off the ground?

We do have great supporters and we can be as noisy as the best of them, but now is the time for everyone to get behind the lads.

        Well said Piemon !

Encouragement might just work wonders; it often does !

Well said. Although you run the risk of being called a “superfan” by the moaning menks.

I’ve heard that the makers of Prozac are competing with The Samaritans to be our new shirt sponsor for next season.

              Played some great stuff?
              Hardest league in the world?

Its a good job there are some s**t teams in the league this year.
Ever asked yourself why their moaning when the team comes out?
Because its the same crap formation everytime. We have a lad who attracted the attentions of Arsenal etc, but despite our position he can’t get off the bench.
Like you say, the fans are a lot different this season. No chants of “we are staying up” like there was always.
Martinez is removing all confidence from the players and fans. He doesn’t have the respect of players or supporters, so how can he possibly carry on?

Agree with every part of that Piemon. Don’t think you would get too many off here petitioning, half of these men are moaning too. (Ie Ticslad) Keep the fait in Martinez and the team!

You had to stop yourself James?
Well get used to it with this clown in charge.

Tell you what though, these superfans are quiet. Never an argument at a game etc, may be it’s due to being outnumbered 100 to 1.

Whereas its the suppliers of LSD or magic mushrooms at the moment, someone must be giving them to both the spanish one and his supporters because if you think the garbage served up since his arrival is good, you all must be under the influence of some form of hallucinogenic.

Oh the irony of implying that someone is childish by making a comment like that.

Actually, James is 20, as he keeps telling us. Though, admittedly, he does act more like 12 sometimes. ;)
