I notice the picture seems to have gone from Twitter. I hope someone (maybe Rosler, maybe DW) has b******ed him and asked what the **** he thinks he’s doing.

      It’s a good job I don’t swear :)

He seems to be better on Twitter and Facebook than he is in front of goal.[/quote]

You mean better in front of camera than in front of goal! :P

Does your boss dictate to you what you can do in your free time?

Why are people getting stressed about this, he was at home on his own time because Rosler had chosen to leave him out.

Lose on Friday and he’s gone. This is beyond tinkering, I think he’s cracked up.

Has Moyes gone Real Sociedad yet? If not I think Big Dave has his number on speed dial.

To be honest I’d take Pulis right now, at least he’d play 2 up front with wingers and probably drop the undroppable Cowie.

I doubt either of them would come to Wigan.

Moyes is too big to come to Wigan and Pulis needs money to spend. It’s why he fell out with Crystal Palace.

And there’s no guarantee Pulis wuld play with two up front. He quite often plays with one striker.

on this season’s performances his signings are to blame.

I said to my mates at the back end of last season that my two concerns about Rosler were his incessant squad rotation & also his signings.
I thought that with the exception of Waghorn they were garbage, he rarely played most of them & all the ones performing were other manager’s men. Even Waghorn seemed an odd permanent signing to make at the time – I only rate him as average at the best of times but to sign him on a 3 year deal when we still had a chance of getting promoted was strange coz there’s no way in the memory of man that he is good enough for the top flight so he’d have been left out of the side even more often than he currently is had we gone up

I’d argue that Pulis is too big to come to Wigan. I have no idea where people get the idea that big name managers would be falling over themselves to come to Wigan. Huge reality check needed

No, but his boss does. They have a code of conductguidelines regarding social media that they must adhere to. And that’s not my opinion, it’s a fact.

I’m quite sure that there is no formal clause that stipulates they should not post half-naked selfies on Twitter while there is a match going on but unless he’s completely thick (not beyond the realms of possibility) he would pretty much know that that is the kind of thing that would, at best, be frowned upon.

Beach football, posing naked, a bit thick? Is there a connection here?

if it is frowned upon or barred then its only because of the over reaction of some people to what a footballer not selected for a match day squad should be doing whilst that game is on.
Personally I wouldn’t have expected him to have travelled down to the Amex to watch it, or go to the DW to watch the beam back nor watch some dodgy feed on his own pc, so I couldn’t care less if he posts a photo of himself on twitter.

I haven’t seen the photo however so if he’s waving his tallywhacker about, I take it all back

To be fair, it’s irrelevant whether you – or anyone else – cares or not. If they are told not to do such things (and they may or may not have been) then they are in breach of management policy.

The fact that the photo has been removed indicates that either he was told to remove it or he has thought better of it.

For the record, I couldn’t give a toss either.

I am now retired but when I did work, yes my boss to some extent did dictate what I could do in my free time. I had to act in a way that did not “bring the business into disrepute”.

Was things like Twitter and Facebook around when you used to work George? Just wondering like…

          From Matlock to ManU
          What a journey!
