We are stuffed if Hugo’s out, but Nugent comes with a train-load of baggage and problems. That’s probably why we never went for him.

No. I appreciate what you’re saying about him, but if I was in a similar position, a young lad away from home, earning what? 20 grand a week, I’d be ‘havin it’ as well. I’d not be so stupid as to let it affect my game, and I’d give late nights a miss. But I’d still be shaggin as much as I could. Not in brothels. I’m sure any professional footballer could quite easily be like a ‘human cup-tree’ if they wanted. We have a whole generation of ‘wannabe wags’, in this country. (Tight jeans, big boots, big belt, dyed hair, bling, shades, and orange skin) :lol: I’d be going like the clappers.
If I was a manager, I would not give a monkey’s as to what the players did, as long as they didn’t do drugs, or be out at all hours. I’d say “Live it, as long as you EARN the right to”. (By playing well)
P*sshead or not, StandishWalker he’s gone to a potential relegation rival, and may well notch the goals that make a difference. Where we are BADLY lacking, in the forwards. King? We’d be better with ME up-front, than him. I’ve not played for 7 years, but I’d still contribute more than him. And might he be going to jail soon, anyway?
Standish, what exactly is all this baggage and how do you know that the internet rumours and gossip is true, what exactly has he done that is so bad? i think some one on here posted that he took a t.w.a.t bat to one of his teammates in training but i don’t believe that as i am sure it would have been widely reported and i didn’t here nowt.
i think he would have bin a decent signing and would probably rather have come here than to the dingles, surely better than what we currently have as back up.While I’m certainly not a King fan (I think he’s an awful PL footballer), if I were him I’d be insulted that I’m supposed to be worse than Nugent….either you;ve never seen Nugent play in the Premier or know nothing about football, he’s woeful
Two goals from off the bench says different, who can get us two goals from off the bench? i am not saying he is a world beater just better than what we have got in reserve at the moment.
