13 May 2014 at 2:56 pm #131029gomez last two games didnt really look interested just pottering about the field
way too slow
my opinion off him wont change so i wont miss him or boozerjoeYou’re either on the wind up Bicky, or really not worth listening to ;)
13 May 2014 at 3:05 pm #131031As my Scottish mates have always said, Caldwell on the whole is a sound defender but he has that calamity gene that comes to the fore at the worst possible times and so therefore he is shite! In other words he has always been an accident waiting to happen and will never shake off that stigma attached to him ! Every single Scottish friend that I have asked an opinion on Caldwell has replied ” Fuckin pish man ” and I know quite a good few as well ! Let him go !

I thought he was solid but then the calamity gene kicked in ! He was caught for initial pace and the rest is history!

13 May 2014 at 5:50 pm #131046Griff I’ve never thought Gomez was shit or will I ever boo any Wigan team. Gomez has been inconsistent while at WAFC. When in the Pr em GC was often slated by many fans for one reason or another . Open to be proved wrong but for me he ain’t good enough.
13 May 2014 at 5:57 pm #131048And while were on it how many fuckers have slagged Watson until he scored at Wembley

Still, it’s all about opinions. Everyone’s entitled to one, despite what some may think.
13 May 2014 at 9:20 pm #131067Plays well and then lunges in giving away a penalty.Don’t really think he lunged in to be fair. Junior Toilet cleverly slipped the ball past Caldwell and made a meal of the tackle ( only a little less exaggerated than James McClean ). He knew exactly what he was doing and timed it to perfection !
14 May 2014 at 1:58 am #131090Wasn’t Gary Caldwell one of triplets, Steven Caldwell and Titus Bramble?

I see what you did there
14 May 2014 at 2:33 pm #131113Caldwell isn’t good enough. In the Prem apart from those last seven games the season we stayed up he wasn’t good enough. He’s been out all season comes back and missed a penalty at Wembley setting the tone for the shoot out. Plays well and then lunges in giving away a penalty. You may disagree but he’s a liability and I’d rather see him punch the floor somewhere elseIt seems Gary is the Mr Chinnery of the team. Not that he is the only one who makes mistakes of course but his tend to be the important ones, such as Swansea at home, the penalty at Wembley and on Monday.
