Another positive display of attacking football. Can’t believe we didn’t win it. It could have been 6-0 easily at half time.
Hopefully Cook will have words with Dunkley for his stupid red card which didn’t help us. He can’t be blamed for the dropped points, it was the missed chances in the first half.
Portsmouth were poor, but got their tails up after the sending off and deserved their goal for the 10 minute period they were in the game.
We should still have managed a winner with the chances we had after their goal.
It was far more entertaining than anything I have seen for years and if we carry on like that we could be looking at a promotion party again in May or earlier.
Michael Jacobs MotM again for me.

Just wonder if a proven goal scorer like Bogle would have tucked some of those chances away.

No way, he would have been either off the pace or offside.

Why did everyone clap Dunkley off!!! that right hook would have floored Mayweather if it connected .

We will never know but missed chances have cost us dearly before.

              It happens.
We hit the post three times and they bounced out.
They hit the post and it went in.
We still had chances when down to 10 men and their keeper was MotM for them.
We know we’re not going to go through the seasom 100%, but the performance was still good, and it was one of those days.
But try and tell me that at the beginning of the season if you’d been offered 10 points after 4 games you wouldn’t have snatched hands off.

Of course he can. Portsmouth were never in the game until the sending off and hadn’t had a shot on target. Stupid action cost us two points.

Not sure I agree with your motm horc. He played well for sure but for the first time this season his end product was that of the old Jacobs, shite..

We were great in first half and should have been out of sight as you say. Massey & Byrne linked up well, our goal was superb play. Gutted coming off the ground with a point but thoroughly enjoyed the game.
Their keeper was very good and their number 18 looked decent too.

Jacobs was excellent today; a different player under the guidance of Cookster !
IMO, Massey was fairly quiet, by comparison. But hey, 10 points after 4 games, I’ll take it :) :) :)

Definitely agree he’s a much improved player under cook and does some good stuff in his approach play. Maybe a bit harsh with my earlier comment, but he does need to work on his end product, IMO.
