Great goal and a good point. Wigan climb out of bottom three but things are hotting up.

It’s looking grim for Villa, the only team in the bottom nine to lose today. The penalty was disputed, but Villa were outplayed.

A crucial run for Wigan coming up – and a bad time to lose Ramis;

Tuesday Bournemouth a
Saturday Sunderland h
Tuesday Stoke a
Saturday Southampton h
Saturday Chelsea a
Saturday FA Cup
Saturday Reading a

The penalty against villa was 100% not a penalty. The lad who went down, watch him in match of the day, he goes “he didn’t touch me”. Penalty given, one nil. Fair play to saints though for not looking a gift horse in the mouth. These bad bad officials are ruining the game.

and if figgy hadn’t cleared off the line we would have lost 2-1 all hell would brake loose on here

………and if I hadn’t changed my bottom to a 1.7 I would have caught fook all.

Good point at a place were we get nothing as a rule. They almost snatched the customary two one win at the end but hey it’s a good result and sets us up nice against Blunderland next week.
A good day if you ask me and despite QPR and Reading picking up points its still them both down for me with anyone from us ,Villa ,Southampton for the last place.

Too early to comment on the new boys not being included but I hope that the usual precedent will not be evident for too long !

Espinosa’s had less than a week of training so maybe he’s not yet up to match fitness.

Who will he replace though if he is going to be first choice?

Ramis didnt look in a good way….

Guess that means Stam back at right back :(

Don’t mind Stam as a a wing back. He’s just crap when he has to defend in a back 4.
Or cross a ball, beat a man, shoot and effect the game in any other way than completely waste our possession.

Yeah apart from that hes brill
Nothin like a bit of constructive criticism

Hasn’t D. BA gone to Chelsea (even if / when Torres goes, they will spend big to replace) ??

Money? Put himself in PL shop-window (clause in 2.5 yr contract) etc etc

I’m hoping Espinoza gets a run out at Bournemouth tomorrow.
