Would have taken a point at the start, definitely taken a point at half-time and happy with a point at full-time.
To his credit the referee was determined to keep 22 players on the field and a draw was a fair result.
I watched from my sofa rather than my armchair, but I didn’t engage in the above mentioned act.hahahaha!! I watched at the pub …… a game of 2 halves!! All a bit at sea in the first half, but the had their kwells and stugeron at half time and came back fighting. Wish Emma and potentially delayed trains hadn’t stopped me going. Max looked good, Perks was good but should have scored. All in all a good result against an inform team. Well done to all those that played, who went and who didn’t go. Morsy wants to get sent off. Remember you have to watch both sides and Blackburn were far from the finished article; lost count the number of times their long range passes went straight into touch. And, to be two up and concede two goals; tut tut. I don’t think the Latics fans will the most critical when they conduct the match analysis in the pub later !Our starting eleven / formation wasn’t good enough until Cook made changes. Blackburn were good value for their lead but Cook pulled it out the bag and I thought we were going to nick it at the end. We were the better team after subs.
Blackburn looked good though to be fair and won’t be far away come May.Difficult game to watch first half, Blackburn were very physical, lots of pushing in the backs and a ref choosing not to see it. Second half play them at their own game and full credit to Vanghany Knocked himself about causing their defence no end of problems.

Dominant 2nd half especially after the first goal.
Thought Vaughan was superb when he came on….gave us an edge which we didn’t have 1st half.My m.o.m. even though he was subbed midway through 2nd half was Danny Graham…..fantastic bullying centre forward display and we found him unplayable 1st half….All in all a great result and deservedly so after 2nd half.Pity Tony Moanbray was like Wenger mark 2…”Thought Wigan didnt deserve anything…we git 2 great goals ,they got 2 scrappy ones “…..Blah Blah.!!!

Post match interviews are a waste of time. No one ever says anything of any interest or value. Remember when we got beaten 1 – 9 and dear Roberto said ‘we’ll take the positives’ for the umpteenth time!! Get rid and bring in a really slick good video assistance for the refs!! (NB. Two great goals? What about the blatant foul on Byrne for the second. To make it worse though if the ref didn’t think that was a foul how on earth Did he think ours was a free kick for the equaliser?
Evened itself up in the end. Thought a draw was a fair result but there front three deffo a bigger threat than our front four. Graham, Armstrong and Dack don’t half complement each other well to be fair.
