Very surprised that people are not on here slagging the team after that today.
A win is a win and we will take them when we can but as usual that today was rubbish.
We played against a very poor Wolves side and they were the slightly better team in a sorry excuse for a football game even when the animal had been sent off.
Were so slow, we lose possession so easy and are so predictable. If Wolves had stayed with 11 men I am pretty sure we would have ended with a point as both sides lacked any class.
Please do not come on and tell me you enjoy the way we play, were so boring.
I’m afraid I’m bored of watching the team I grew up with. My kids don’t even enjoy going to the game as they get bored with the tactics.
Obviously I’m not the only one who is fed up after another dismal crowd.
I await all the abuse now, but please only come and give opinions if you bother to go the games including away games as I do and am entitled to have my say.
3 October 2010 at 11:14 am #47927Sorry, I have loads to say but as I don’t go to all away games I’m not allowed to comment.
That said, if you hate it so much, take your kids to jungle jim’s on a Saturday instead. I promise you won’t be missed.
3 October 2010 at 11:49 am #47929Coming from the guy that had so much to say to Martinez at the players dinner that when the cold reality that his opinion was shi!te he cowered away from the confrontation.
As some one that has watched Latics for a long time (yes before 1995), this what we are seeing is a long, long, long, long, long, long, long way from the worst I have seen.
You natdan, are full of it and are looking for reaction, you have no positives to offer ever, you are one of the ones jumping on bandwagons, whether that be WAFC (during our rise) or the Martinez bashers.
Grow up – only comment if you go home and away – pillock

Goals wigan 2 wolves 0
shots 17 – 2
blocked shots 8 – 0
posession 61% – 39%The stats dont lie NAT!
3 October 2010 at 12:44 pm #47933Not looking for reaction just the way I feel.
That against wolves was pathetic, we were slow, had no idea and left most fans again wondering why the effort level is so bad.
17 shots yes, how many were real shots and not just poor efforts usually from McCarthy.
With the away game comment, we go most games with not many others, this is the worst I have ever seen following WAFC.
I have watched wigan for many years unlike most on here and I can say it’s the worst we have ever been got fight, effort and ideas.
swain had more idea than Martinez. This years dinner will be better as Martinez has not delivered what he promised.
Your trying to hide behind the win. Please watch the game back and then say they were 2 good sides. Wigan are a terrible side at the minute and are boring.
My kids would prefer jungle jims and that’s not good.
Do yup enjoy tnw games these days? Really?
3 October 2010 at 2:21 pm #47948They’re probably fed up because they have to sit with you
3 October 2010 at 3:00 pm #47951I listened to the game on Wish Fm and it was painful listening to say the least.

3 October 2010 at 4:52 pm #47975ok can anyone explain why our crowds are dying a death?.
The rugby would have taken a few hundred at least away. I know a few fans who support both and I know for certain that they would’ve spent the day in Manchester and watch the latics in the pub rather than watch it at the ground.
People are skint n all, and maybe the novelty of watching Prem week in week out is starting to wear off for the fair-weather supporters. If we have an average of about 11-13 thousand, it’d still be about right for a town and club of our size, no matter what crowds we have attracted in the past.
Incidentally I caught the second half on Internet, and I thought we were quite decent, passed it to death mind, but thats the Martinez way. Can’t sniff at a 2-0 at home no matter what the circumstances. Griff – I don’t even go to home games. Get me. Rebel.
3 October 2010 at 6:24 pm #47981If you don’t go to home games, you’re not even allowed to namecheck those that do in your posts, 82. Cut it out right now

Incidentally, was hoping to catch a game next weekend, as I’m home for a week, turns out its international weekend. Bloody rubbish Wigan!!!
4 October 2010 at 3:34 pm #48052Still no reasonable response to how dire the game was.
Second half slight improvement but still dire, boring and a pathetic performance.
We played Wolves who had 10 men and we were awful.
Our crowds have gone down due to the pathetic boring football we play. The new supporters would return if the team had some fight about them.
