Rubbish game, what a load of shite, so dissapointed that we will be replaced by Palace. Neither of these two sides are fit to be in the premiertripe.
The FA are only interested in money, fill up wembley etc..
In my opinion if they want stupid play offs why not third bottom of premiertripe versus third top of championshite.
But of course that means less money for the FA
28 May 2013 at 1:29 am #114571Palace deserve to be where they are and so do we.
I am pleased for them as the PL money is much needed.
Hopefully they wont start silly spending it all to try and stay up.

correct, and neither are we, that’s why we got relegated.corn
28 May 2013 at 2:12 am #114579Hooked….Fishing, Arkwright, is just as boring as your replies..In my opinion…I’d rather watch grass grow, as well as paint drying, than fish. My post was that the game was boring, neither side had anything that was remotely entertaining. True we are where we are, but equally on that showing, we are considerably better, and in twelve months time Palace will be bottom of the Premier ship.
28 May 2013 at 2:17 am #1145804/7 on to go down, why don’t you pile all your money on them then and cash in?
neither side had anything that was remotely entertaining
like a good many of our games this season.

28 May 2013 at 2:32 am #114583I agree with everything you say, Palace and Watford were great, Crystal are 4/7 to be relegated, your opinions along with fishing is fantastic.
:woohoo:28 May 2013 at 2:49 am #114584It was an awful game to be honest.
Zaha left me thoroughly unimpressed.
28 May 2013 at 3:58 am #114585How sickening for the guy that he will go to his parent club, get 5 substitute appearances in the league and play a few cup matches. In the meantime a lot of his team mates today will play 38 EPL games. Mr Zaha however will have a bulging wallet, just like our Victor has.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!28 May 2013 at 10:06 am #114597The FA are only interested in money, fill up wembley etc..In my opinion if they want stupid play offs why not third bottom of premiertripe versus third top of championshite.

That seems a reasonable idea, and it has already been tried. The Football League arrange the play-offs, don’t they? I don’t think it would mean much less money for them.
The play-offs may not be fair, but they do maintain interest in the league – and maintain attendances for clubs – until the very end of the season. I think they have proved a great success.
I’m not sure that three up and three down improves the health of the Premier League. I agree that the teams coming up are not necessarily better than the teams they replace.
28 May 2013 at 10:16 am #114598Congratulations Ollie – you’ve done it again. Dougie Freedman didn’t fancy Palace’s chances, but you’ve taken them up.
Despite being Manager of the Month for April, Freedman couldn’t quite get Bolton into the top six.
Palace may well be favourites to come down. I think Bolton have a good chance of success next season. And Owen Coyle may take over at Wolves and change their fortunes.
28 May 2013 at 10:18 am #114599let’s hope Dulham and Joke get their just deserts next season for boring everybody to death! I expect palace to stay up although they may start badly.
28 May 2013 at 3:05 pm #114614Palace are in the Prem on merit and just like we were are fancied to go straight back down. We lasted 8 seasons and so who is to say that Palace cant survive ! We punched above our weight for most of our prolonged stay in the Prem and to say that a club doesn’t deserve to take our place because they won a nervy play off final is just bitterness in my opinion !
28 May 2013 at 4:12 pm #114635Well said Fil.
Lets not get all Rodney Marsh about it. Palace have earned their place and good luck to them. In many ways they are a lot like us – don’t have a great deal of money so have to rely on bringing the kids through or picking up lower league players with potential. Moses becomes Zaha becomes Williams or N’Zogbia – Moses – McManaman – and so it goes on.
With Holloway they will also attempt to play it the right way so they could indeed be the new Wigan.
28 May 2013 at 6:31 pm #114694Remember though, the play off final before the season we were promoted from the Championship was won by…..
Crystal Palace.
They were relegated after one season and we went up :cheer:
History is about to repeat itself…let’s win the Championship this time
