However, should Hull beat us and pick up a draw, then they will stay up and we will be back in the championship.
Lose the Hull game and we are F@@@@d simple as that.Three more points should do it in my view so that one is a cup final massive game .

Nothing to do with optimism, its a mere statement on how i believe the results / outcome might go.
Each day i go to the cashpoint i am optimistic that it will display a balance of 24 million pounds, however, im not pessimistic when it doesnt. Its called ‘realism’, and with the previous that we have under Martinez, it is a more likely outcome than us being optimistic and saying ‘yeah, lose to Hull, it doest matter, cos we will win all our other games’. The Portsmouth game was supposed to be nailed on. Yet Bobby and his boys managed only a draw. A ‘realistic’ result under current circumstance and form. Dont be too shocked if Hull turn us over, and Bobby is in the press droning on about how the Chelsea game is a ‘must win, cup final, platform to build on for next season etc etc’

Not a good analogy. We are in a position of being above Hull ebven if we lose that game – it’s other games as well that will determine the final outcome.
A better analogy is that I’m optimistic I won’t be in the red.

didn’t know there was a guarentee on beating pompey – mighty aff. chelsea & liverpool were both supposed to be nailed on wins for them both – didn’t work out like that though!!
ok, the pompey result was frustrating, but to be honest i think we could have played portsmouth under 16’s & still not managed a win. i detected a lot of nerves & anxiousness on wednesday & it dosen’t help when we have the worst bunch of moaning fans in football history who if you don’t want this club relegated, stop the booing, jeering and the rest of the negativity & get behind the team. the lads need our support now. start the criticisms at the end of the season.
