Tom’s favourite position is as an attacking, LEFT sided midfield player. As he is playing now.
How do I know? Because he told me last week.
Tom met with Sir Alex Ferguson on Friday, and as it stands he is DEFINITELY here for the next 3 league games.
No final decision has been made on whether he will stay for the rest of the season or not, just yet. Tom will be meeting with Sir Alex again shortly to sort this out.Personally, I think he’s a cracking player and I hope we can keep him until May. I think this lad can be the ‘new Beckham’.
How did “Tom” tell you? Was he in your taxi??[/quote]
No, I was talking to him…..not in a taxi. Why would I be in a taxi?
Tom is a very level-headed young man. It was he who asked Sir Alex about going out on loan again, for more experience.
Thats the situ. 3 more games at least, if not until end of season. Don’t believe me? Ok then, don’t.
2 January 2011 at 2:20 pm #54338I believe it Dave. I’ve met him too and he is indeed a cracking lad, mature beyond his years
2 January 2011 at 2:38 pm #54339Griff,
I honestly believe that he can go on to have a fantastic career and be a big star.
People still rave about Beckham going on loan to Preston and doing well, but that was in the third tier (the actual incarnation escapes me) of English football. Or was it the FOURTH? (thinks for a minute) Yes, I think it was the fourth. We played them, when they had that ‘Colouroll’ sponsored kit with the stripes down the arms. It was 1995, and we were in the fourth tier. (we had that god awful maroon away kit)
Where as, Tom Cleverley is doing the business in the top flight. I just hope he stays until May, and then goes back to United, cementing a place in their starting line up, as Scholes and Giggs are coming to the end.
Cracking lad, cracking player.
2 January 2011 at 2:45 pm #54340Just go on facebook and visit his website, he keeps you updated with all the news and replies to your posts.
As VAT says top lad and top player, the united fans on there are desperate for him to go back to OT. :x
