Time to take bull by the horns and go all out for 3pts.No more 6 across middle…no forwards crap .Happy with a point no good ….Rovers set the example…2 up front and could have won by more than the 1..Think of the huge confidence boost they got with that result .WJ got to go for it else we will soon be adrift like Rotherham!!!

It seems we can’t do right for doing wrong. When Caldwell was in charge we were criticised for having loads of possession handed to us by the opposition and not being able to do anything and ultimately being picked off. In other words exactly what we’ve done to Huddersfield so far tonight.
Yes but his pace is electric. Getting back to what we were used to. Would be lovely to see Davies and or Grigg in the box on Saturday with this pace.
If we keep defending tight there could be another on the counter.
Question is even though it’s working, why do we need to set up so negative to a side so off form as Huddersfield. Surely we didn’t have anything to fear with their recent form.Won’t get away with this for another 45 mins. Need yanik to go full length on his own and get another

Good tactics tonight I thought but would have been easier if we had kept possession better. 3 points though and so job done!
For me we got lucky tonight, penalty not given etc.
We’ve played better and lost. Saying that though Huddersfield looked like us so far this season, lots of possession and nil points at the end. Hoping this is the stroke of luck we need to kick on now.
We’d do a damn sight better with a striker (or preferably 2 :blink: )

Whatever Yootha says or does, there’s one thing he must change above all else…into a suit. A manager should look like one, not a retired player trying to relive his youth. BH, we gave Coyle enough stick for standing there in his shorts :woohoo:
Just listening Yootha ont box and he reckons he sees the striking position as Yanic correct position. Could be right after his show tonight in a counter attacking game. He was dynamite.
Problem is using him there leaves the left side of the field empty. Have we anyone who could show Yanics blistering pace on the left wing. Pleased for Yanic as potentially he is a good player. He looks like he may be benefiting from the new regime on the training field. At times we lived dangerously tonight but really did Huddersfield ever look like they would break us down?Never looked like scoring in second half apart from goal. We looked dangerous almost everytime we went forward and Yanic was immense. Struck fear into the heart of their defence throughout. Great win for the new gaffer. Classic away performance of counter attacking football.
Fingers crossed Joyce gets Yanic as fit as a fiddle, it’s all that’s missing from his game. Same as McManaman, he needs to want it enough and believe he can be anything with masses of hard work.
Really enjoyed our football last night, mostly played in right areas, less dicking about at the back. We’ve brought a bit of clever back. Powers ball for Yanic is something we’ve been missing, a final ball in front of someone to run on to.

big problem last night with our game was winning the ball only to give it to the other side to come back at us too quick
we need to keep hold of it has much as possible…apart from that we defended well and the new striker yanic did what wj asked of him…big strong and terrified their defence
has for grigg im really not sure if he fits into wj plans
