Well I reckon that the respective unbeaten records will remain and so I shall call a draw on this one! Score 1-1 again!
29 September 2015 at 4:14 pm #144987Wigan to win 2-1

29 September 2015 at 5:41 pm #144993Every game is winnable. It is just up to Gary what the chances of a win are. Play attacking football with earnest and the chances of a win will be greater. Pass it around slowly and highten the chance of a draw.
29 September 2015 at 5:54 pm #144994Ahead of tonight’s game with Millwall the Latics are struggling with injuries and suspensions, Jordan Flores red card at Oldham on Saturday for violent conduct will see the 19 year old miss the next three games.
With club skipper Craig Morgan already sidelined, Caldwell could have done without vice-captain Jason Pearce picking up a knee injury, he is now rated at just 50-50 for the game, Chris McCann could slot into the back line with David Perkins picking up the captains armband if Pearce, as looks likely, doesn’t make it.
Grant Holt got another 90 minutes under his belt last night for the Development Squad, but two games in two days would be too much to ask, I wouldn’t expect the 34 year old to even get a place on the bench following almost a year out.
Don Cowie has stepped up his training and also featured for the Development squad, Cisco Junior could find a place on the bench following his absence but Craig Davies won’t be risked, whilst Kev McNaughton is a long term casualty.
So more reshuffling for Caldwell, I think he will keep the shape but tweak the personnel around a little, some forced one through choice.
Latics possible – O’Donnell, Daniels, Barnett, McCann, Power, James, Perkins, Chow, Jacobs, Hiwula, Grigg.

29 September 2015 at 5:58 pm #144995Haris Vuckic is close to a comeback for loan club Wigan Athletic.
The Newcastle United forward twisted his ankle on his second appearance for the League One club.
But Vuckic, on a season-long loan at the DW Stadium, could be available for next Saturday’s away game at Bury.
Ninth-placed Wigan, managed by former Newcastle defender Gary Caldwell, are hoping to return to the Championship at the first attempt.
And Vuckic starred on loan for Rangers last season, and Caldwell is hoping the 23-year-old will have a similar impact at the DW Stadium.
29 September 2015 at 7:13 pm #144997I predict we’ll spank someone once we get our first team back, doubtful it will be tonight.
0-0 is as positive as I can be, though we are probably unlikely to keep a clean sheet :(

… and just to prove that the last attendance prediction was a fluke , tonight there will be 8210 in attendance
29 September 2015 at 9:54 pm #145001Sorry but 2-0 Millwall
29 September 2015 at 10:20 pm #145002I’m not feeling too good about tonight, all the same I think this seasons team have greater fight and determination in them, so I’m going for a nail-biting 2 -1, with a last gasp goal.
Filmoss – you are wrong – I’m not going – so it’ll be 8209.
MoM to be shared between Perkins and Drummer Boy.
