An interesting 30 minute telephone call interview, alot cannot be discussed and he doesn’t own a crystal ball but gotta give him credit, he’s the first one for getting on for 3 years who’s sat and spoke about taking over.
He says they put a bid forward but have had no response from the Krasner Crew. I find it very strange considering exclusivity has been extended twice.
Once the first ended they should have least given them an ear but admin basically don’t want to know.Truth be known, these Spanish by the sounds of it are like car dealers, valet the club via a in-house tidy then it flog on with little or no investment for a profit. The moment they wanted 840k that was it alarm bells ringing.
Tony Frampton said they don’t need the 840k they can keep it.
Watch this space24 November 2020 at 9:28 am #190044I think the Spanish have more or less said the same with the supporters club money. If this Frampton bloke really cared ,as a local business man ,he would have been involved months ago. There are a lot of unanswered questions with him, admin don’t want to know for probably a very good reason. If he is as committed as he says he is then he should be ready to make the Spanish an offer in a few years time.Don’t forget they put the money on the table when no one else was prepared to do so.

24 November 2020 at 11:43 am #190051If the Spanish bid fails, all these bidders can put a wedge of money on the table and if they win
the bid, Latics have hit the-jackpot, with all these blokes just waiting to throw millions of £’s at us,as Del Boy would say ‘Lovely Jubbly’

The Spanish were late bidders themselves ,but that is understandable.Frampton is a local business man and supposedly a Latics fan.He should have been aware of the situation right from the start. If he was really interested his bid should have been in months ago ,but no ,he waits until someone else gets exclusivity and then claims he has put a bid in but the admin don’t want to know.Really ?

I’m still with you on that Phoenix !
He also makes it sound that they were contemplating a bid for the Latics in Autumn 2019, then he goes on to blame Covid. So why didn’t they step in sooner ? Call me cynical, but it doesn’t stack up in my opinion.

So ,he will be relying on funds being sent by his boss in the Far East ,sounds familiar.
25 November 2020 at 12:02 pm #190075He could have had us on 2nd July prevented the fire sale and we would be pissing this league by now. To me it’s a load of shite. The Spanish had the balls to stump up the necessary and have stayed interested despite the EFLs antics.
