I notice you leave out John Motson from your “REAL commentators” left list, is that because you like myself DON’T consider him a legitimate commentator ?
I do rate Martin Tyler though, for me he is up there with the Davies, Sinstadt, Brian Moore, Hugh Johns of the past.
I have to admit although not football, Bill McClaren was my all time favourite, he even made the mundane spectacle of rugby union bearable.
