just booked 3 seats for wolves away a very good price of £17.50 return each going at 11.30am coming back at 6.30pm it only takes 1 hour and the ground is about 15 mins walk but th girl on the desk did say that this price will not last long.

It was murder last time. When all Latics fans were coming out, you have to walk uphill towards a road at the top. There are trees there, and basically Wolves ambushed us. Some people got a kick in, and they weren’t only going for likeminded types, either. At least one old bloke got smacked, and I heard tales of people getting followed on the way back to their cars. West Midlands Police were useless, in fact, I’m sure they wanted trouble to occur.
It’s a dodgy place. Always has been. I’m giving it a miss this time, as I can’t be bothered with the hassle. Shame really, as it’s a good atmosphere in the ground.

30 December 2009 at 1:20 pm #16294why risk all that hassle and a 15 minute walk when you can sit on a coach and have pub stop etc
30 December 2009 at 1:30 pm #16295Depends where you end up parking up.
Last time, they had the Wigan coaches, official, and independent, parking up about half-three quarters of a mile off the ground. The walk down the hills to the ground (down in a dip) was dodgy. Was a good 5-10 mins walk, across a busy road as well.
It was at the top of that road where it kicked off afterwards.Just be wary after the game, near that clump of trees at the side of the main road.
30 December 2009 at 2:00 pm #16298Was there mate , also let the dogs go on the car park too .
Our coach was held back by the police till 3.15 and then marched down the hill with a copper each escort , i asked what was going on and was told .” Think we have got the wrong coach “30 December 2009 at 2:35 pm #16304How much are ticktes for this one?
