Just want September 1st to pass with no business at all. Let it just go by unnoticed. Really don’t want anyone taking any of our youngsters just yet.
I think the only one would be Sam Tickle but if he’s any sense about him he’ll stay.
So many of our youngsters have left too early and hardly any have gone on to better their careers.
I mean, why would you want to leave only to end up 3rd 4th choice at a big club languishing in the reserves then sent out on loan?.If your any good the big bucks will come soon enough. Just bide your time, get the first team experience and enjoy days like up at the Tough sh1t stadium
Tickle and Hughes will both definitely benefit from a full season in league one. That won’t stop the vultures from swooping though. They will have them at their club just to stop others maybe benefiting from them in future years!!
I’m scared how good Matty Smith is having signed him on a free. Need to keep the vultures away from him and not lose him just a few months into his Wigan career. Same can probably be said about Clare as well.
Have you seen the analysis video on Matty Taylor ?, the one highlighting him ?. He’s exactly what we’ve been missing for as long as I can remember and I’m in no doubt Maloney is asking him to play that way, he makes us tick.
It’s going to be a tough window but I’d like to think we can keep hold of him.
No doubt West Brom will be looking, they always fookin do. Their like Prairie dogs with their ears pricked up when we there’s rumours flying around
