Todays paper talk… We have been mentiond..
OK no doubt there will be negative comments that its only paper rumours etc but atleast were being mentiond…Anyway we are linked with:
Kuszczak.
Shaun Wright Phillips.
Osvaldo (spanish striker)Personally would love us to buy obviously a keeper.. A replacement for Cleverly(played great yesterday).. And a complete attacking midfielder…Possibly a new centreback/rightback but maybe im pushing it a little ;)

5 December 2010 at 10:46 pm #52626Marco Ruben…
Was mentioned tonight on La Liga Football that he was linked with us and maybe he would move to England.
6 December 2010 at 12:33 am #52636Won’t be getting Osvaldo, said he isn’t interested in playing in England.
6 December 2010 at 12:08 pm #52660The ‘european pele’ is known to ply his trade in Beech Hill.
6 December 2010 at 12:50 pm #52662The papers can link us with who they like but if we don’t start winning games and are in the bottom three come January I’m sure they will be queing up to join us
6 December 2010 at 12:55 pm #52663Figs to Liverpool ! Hope so he is cack !Wether you like him or not he is by far our best left back and IMO up to all the speculation last season about his future he was one of our most consistent performers.

He is our best left back, but that’s due to the fact that he is the only out and out left back in the squad.Figueroa is not a good left back in my opinion, as he is caught out of position far too often.
6 December 2010 at 10:15 pm #52691Seemed ironic that for me he had his best game of the season on Saturday and yet was orked off before the end, with no apparent injury.
He must have this Stoke thing going on. :? :oFrom Matlock to ManU
What a journey!7 December 2010 at 12:13 pm #52744Without being able to mind read I’d say that Bobby took Figueroa off because he’d not long been booked & as the game was getting a bit tetchy at that point he didn’t wanna risk him getting another caution & being sent off
Probably learnt his lesson from the United game when he should have taken Alcaraz off

So if he can learn that lesson why cant he learn that one lone striker does not work !! :x

2 up front no chance!
TALKING TACTICS
He doesn’t know any other way [than to play attractive football]. He’s not the kind of manager who will go route one just to get results. He’s always stressing the importance of performances over results and if you look after your performances the results will look after themselves. He will be looking forward to the opportunity of going up against a fellow advocate of good football. There is no danger that Martinez will resort to anything else other than his usual brand of attacking football.   -
