Got to be our best one ever, some cracking deals and well done to all involved to get the deals done and more importantly not to loose any major players, we are going places and will surprise everyone this season.
UTFT see you all at Preston.

This has been a great transfer window. A lot of folk bemoaned the royles & IEC, but fair play to them.

Got to say in this window they have done everything that us fans have been asking for. Every position is filled and with strong cover in every position too. A lot of scope with the squad to go three at the back, five at the back, four at the back. There’s also many options to play whatever way we want in midfield, two defensive and three attacking midfielders or one line of four. Up top we could go with one, two or three. Absolutely great to have a full squad with options and plenty cover if a disaster happens with injuries like last season. It’s a shame that these days squads are not together for pre-season but that’s the same at all clubs. Lots of young quick players with ambitions to succeed should help us towards a top half finish and shock a few people this season.
Well done all concerned. Win on Saturday to take us top of the league and send out a warning to all the Billy Big Bollocks that Wigan are back and will be looking down at you and not up.

Totally agree……looks like good business done. Note of caution…Lopez,Cole,Walker etc…..every position got cover.Cant wait for Saturday.Preston and Rovers supporters looking at us with envy and anger as they’ve done zero in the window. Good….let’s stuff em tomorrow.

When you buy players you got to remember that’s on top of their wages so fair play to those above for making it happen.
Unloading Lopez and Powell for me was also a good bit of business but had the chippy mon at the time Sharp been on the ball the IEC could have recouped alot of the expenditure.
Just glad to see the age of the players as well, no 30+ on frees or loans that are here to pick up a pay pack (bar the keeper) It looks as Cooks had instructions to look for possible future sell ons type players.
Will be very interesting to see how he marries some of these players into Saturdays lineup considering the way played against a title contending side.

This has been a fantastic window, relative to the league we are in the best I can remember for a long time
Let’s hope that the performance on the pitch match the signings
For once Boone can have any complaints at all
Can’t believe the mulgrew signing, that’s a belter
