I hope our potential new owners are pulling the strings and we can afford 1 or 2 loan signing wages. We definitely need bodies in with the size of our squad.
I feel with a couple a experienced faces we could at least push for a play off place. I know its asking alot granted especially after what’s gone and still going on but after seeing the quality of opposition so far nothings blown me away.
How a mood can change in a week cupwinners. No offence to you Sir & please dont take this the wrong way, but I got the impression you were more or less ready to start supporting the Phoenix club or whoever pretty soon.
For the record I do hope you’re right, as I like these bunch of players we currently have. And are looking like a team already.

We might have the makings of a side but withe current squad it would only take 1 or 2 injuries and we’d be well and truly fcukeredI think it’s safe to say, from what I’ve seen reported, that we’re going to be relying on picking up some of the many “free agents” that it seems are floating around at the moment. With the departure of Danny Fox it seems we are looking to strengthen all areas – defence, midfield and attack, but until everything is official on the takeover and us coming out of administration I think we will pick up some experienced bodies from the free agent market (which means we’re not tied to the transfer window) to bolster the obvious young talent that we have!

Under Administration we are at our limit on players, we can add once the takeover (hopefully) goes through.
Away a lot, but always watching
Agree a few signings might just propel this bunch into the top six at least.
The goal last Saturday has to be the softest I have ever seen at any level and proof that making a mark even this season could be a reality.
A couple of prudent signings would
Be a good move and good boost to the remaining lads in the squad.
The youth policy has to be number one priority going forward especially given the position geographically of Wigan.
The big four clubs in the northwest are now scouting for the best young talent globally and we should continue to keep this lucrative side line going.
