Please work this out in advance.
Trains only running to Preston, line shut to Blackpool so bus service running to Kirkham and Wesham. Be careful as not every bus goes there, coming back, if there is more than 70 of you, there will be no chance if getting back to Preston for last train at 10.46.
Parking for cars, mini buses and coaches is very limited, though I have been contacted by several pubs and clubs offering their facilities including car parks, but they are 15 to 40 minutes walk away.
I’ll post more updates as I get them
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
22 November 2017 at 1:35 pm #163504Must admit, I contacted Fylde last week asking for advice on parking. Id normally figure it out via google earth, but their ground is so new, its not even on it!
Havent had a reply off them, but I believe that its a no no to park on the Aldi close by as you will get a ticket.
I think we will go early and get some tea beforehand.
22 November 2017 at 2:08 pm #163506They are also unsure about how much if their car park the BBC are goung to take up too…
Like I said, as I get more info I’ll post it.

22 November 2017 at 4:46 pm #163518Guys, I go past it regularly and tbh if your in the car it will be easier to park up in Kirkham and walk up to the stadium. Not sure ir the wardens are out in force in the town on matchdays mind.
22 November 2017 at 5:55 pm #163519We went out in our touring caravan a couple of years back & discovered it wasn’t far from where they were constructing the new stadium – whilst it looked impressive for a club that was then in the Evostik Prem (or had just gone up to the Conference North) I did wonder how it’d work if they ever achieved their goal of reaching the football league by 2020 as it seemed to be in the middle of nowhere.
That said, if they’d still been playing at their previous ground things would have been even worse. I ran the line there a couple of times & it literally was in a field behind a pub
22 November 2017 at 7:28 pm #163520Possibly park at The Villa pub and lodge right next to Motorway and walk down or possibly there could be parking on one of the lanes between there and the ground.
22 November 2017 at 11:20 pm #163528Jayt is one of the pubs the villa express
23 November 2017 at 3:55 pm #163536So Far it is the Bell and Bottle, Willows Social Club and the 3 pubs in Wesham (Stanley Arms, Derby Arms and Lane Ends).
The Bradley Sports Bar will only let fans with Home End Tickets in, no away fans at all in there.

That Bradley Sports bar (named after Alan, tragically killed under a Blackpool tram in 1989) looks a rip off anyway. You would think a non league club would throw the doors open and get the tills clanging. But I’ve a sneaky feeling a lot of Blackpool and PNE may jump on the bandwagon here. If they dont want to milk our support for what they can make, probably more than at any other game, more fool them.
As for Parking, I’ve a plan in mind. I hope we play our full team and hammer these men. My polite email asking for parking advice went unanswered…I’ve a feeling these are being a bit cocky. But thats not unusual with Blackpool and PNE, so perhaps its the same with these non league neighbours of those clubs. Lets go and be clinical and do the job.

Well my grandson would love that :D24 November 2017 at 1:50 am #163558And then draw Spurs away so we are at Wembley again.
Well my grandson would love that :DLets leave Spurs until the 6th Round then we can have 3 FA Cup matches running at Wembley for a change.
The curtain raiser to our Championship season will also be at Wembley the following August.
Dreams can come true, we as Wigan Athletic fans know that all too well. -
