He was class against us. He has that sublime class on the ball…..the same as what players like Cantona, etc, have had.
Fact is, he doesn’t fit into Stoke’s direct system. Where as, he’d fit into ours superbly. He can play central, or wide. I seem to recall he started on the right for them against us, and yet he was in the right place in the middle to get on the end of a cross and score against us.
I’d be made up to sign such a player, as I am sure most of our fans would be. He’d be a class aquisition.
When he played against us for Middlesbrough he ripped us a part would be a great signing.I think he would be a great signing for us and would chip in with a fair number of goals. :D :D :D
