A proper result for me, no need to set off from down south at the crack of dawn on the Saturday to get back in time.
As for the schedule, the best team of the last 3 months of last season on once (1st game)then not on for a further 3 months at least. Meanwhile, 3 promoted clubs Reading are on 4 times, Southampton 3 and best of all………….Everyones darlings and masters of beautiful football…. West Ham on an eyecatching SEVEN times. :pinch:
Subscription cancelled.5 July 2012 at 4:33 pm #90017I think we should all boycot ESPN for a narrow minded view of the premier league. !
5 July 2012 at 4:39 pm #90019ESPN is rubbish for football the only reason it is still on my subscription is for the UFC.
TBH I would probably get rid of the lot if it was not for recording games on football first.
Watching some of our latter wins again and again last season was very enjoyable indeed.
5 July 2012 at 7:17 pm #90022GL…can you let Jason know that his article says next game is 28 December – should read November.
As for the cheaters, as mentioned above, it would be really sweet should they only manage 1 win out of those opening games – public humiliation.
Oh what a dream that would be.

…..however, what is getting on peoples paps is the amount of TV money that they will receive for these 7 showings. The cynic inside me says this is a ‘fix’ and the extra cash can be used to influence ‘extra’ dealings in the next transfer window…….if only to grease palms.
