Its not cheap from me Griff ,I’m not a lover of Gomez we don’t win enough games when he starts and his work rate off the ball is poor and we can’t carry players like him.not saying he’s a bad player but we are better off without him.IMO

It was a cheap shot because there was no need to single him out. I think we all agree he is not quite good enough, but he’s only playing because of injuries and hopefully now Maloney is back well be ok. That said, if McCarthy is out, he may still get a start.
It’s not Gomez’s fault that people get injured and we can’t afford a better backup player.
Please read my original post I blamed the injuries And two players not just Gomez.and if you want to throw in Boyce after today not one of his better days however his days at centre back or over IMO.

Please look at stats..and we leave it their Capt .and if you think the games he has had are not enough we can have a good chat next time I meet you in new year.
Di Santo not quite 100%, or put in the shop window? The decision is yours! ;)[/quote]
standish you are missing my point, how can boselli be blamed and called shit when he has never been given a fair crack of the whip.Bobby saw something in him when he signed him, same has he saw something in di santo who i think only scored one for blackburn and none for chelsea

I’m not missing your point at all. Ignore my post – it’s meant to be tongue in cheek. I agree with you insomuch as I don’t think Bosseli has played enough games to adapt to the Premier League, but, I think he’ll go – if not in January, then maybe at the end of the season, and I think it will be him who instigates the move.
He probably expected to come in and start scoring instantly but wasn’t prepared for how quick and physical the Premier League can be.
For reference, think how poor Drogba was in his first Premier League season.
As ive bored you with it before but i will say it again
Need to score two to get anything every game
I think both them goals yesterday were poor from our point. Two stalwarts we have are both going through poor spells. That said, figs and Lopez should have done better for the second.
Coupled with the injuries we have then it’s hardly surprising we can’t keep a clean sheet.
On the striker theme that crops up, difficult to judge Boselli on the amount of games he’s played for us. I’d like to see him have a 5 or 6 game run in the team, we might then have a better idea of his true capabilities.
