It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas !
Starting to get exciting, with a few more prospects to come.
So far so good Mr T; not the usual “crock of s–t” that sign on loan then never play because they are unfit !10 January 2023 at 4:29 pm #197875Someone said I hope he’s book of contacts is better than Warren Joyce’s book.
The difference is, Toure played the game under would class managers then coached first teams at two decent clubs. His brother has probably a contact list the length of his arm.Joyce list would have consisted of a load of youth team coaches and nothing else.
Our first 2 signings are an ex team m8 and and ex club young up and coming player. Another thing that alot of people say about Kolo is, he’s a really nice guy. No one wants to work for a tvvat.
A forward (Gelhardt), another midfielder, a left back (a must) and another centre half would do for me.Toffolo and Colback from Forest would be a brilliant fit
10 January 2023 at 9:23 pm #197881Excited at Joe G possible loan signing
And I bet he would come back in a heartbeat.11 January 2023 at 6:30 am #197882Two in, two out. One in Caulker with lots of experience, the other in Azeez very underwhelming.
Hopefully the two from Forest and Joffy but no thanks to Christ and the Burton lad again we already have McGrath and Humps for their positions.11 January 2023 at 8:36 am #197885I’m not so sure about Azeez. Played for Pomepy 6 times taken off after 59 on his debut then recalled and sent to Ibiza on loan till now. Theres a real lack of experience.
I remember when we played Arsenal U21’s in the EFL trophy.
Arsenal had a few who were highly touted and had recently made their Arsenal debut but the best player on that night by a country mile was Aasgaard.
I hope I’m wrong but with only 16 games at lower level for Azeez Aasgaard for me looks the better option for us.
Toffolo and Colback would be for me 2 brilliant signings especially Toffolo is a brilliant left sided wing back.
He’s scoring and assists something like 6 and 8 and Huddersfield were the reason why Forest bought Toffolo after Forest beat Huddersfield in the play off final last year. It’s going to be super tough finding the right players to come to a club languishing at the bottom of the League especially good players who will far better options.
Kolo’s going to have his work cut out for sure finding decent, non injured, not 35+ players who fancy a short 6 month contact to put themselves back in the shop window.
Gelhardt coming back on loan sounds very promising, but an experienced ball playing centre mid, another centre half and the most important position of all a left back have to be Kolo’s priority.
Good luck with that pal11 January 2023 at 6:41 pm #197887Need to get a move on to.
11 January 2023 at 7:50 pm #197888Two in three out now. Weakening squad by the day.
12 January 2023 at 3:54 pm #197897Heard Tyler Blackett has signed on a free.
12 January 2023 at 8:29 pm #197898That’s good news. Two experienced defenders in now. That’s 3 in 3 out now.
14 January 2023 at 8:35 am #197907Blackett will surely be used as a back up simply because of hit fitness and ongoing injuries hence why he keeps moving on quickly.
Teihi a defensive midfielder should help shore up the leaky defence. I’m not sure about Gelhardt coming in as he’s still been used from off the bench at Leeds.
I think the lad from Burton will sign for around £500,000. There was mention of a winger signing as well which made me nearly choke on my cornies simply because we don’t use them.
