Absolutely stunned at what Alan Pardew did today in the Hull Newcastle game. He has to be looking at an extensive ban. May even get the sack for that.
On the plus side another fantastic win today & we are now in the Play Off places with a game in hand :woohoo: :woohoo:
1 March 2014 at 9:11 pm #127984Hope so.
Hate that bastard with a passion!
Great win for us too, agreed!
1 March 2014 at 9:19 pm #127985Gomez ran the show today and his passing was immense. Cracking goal to boot.
All the lads played well and thought Mclean put his heart and soul into it today.
Hope Pardew gets his just desserts.
1 March 2014 at 9:22 pm #127986This is the 3rd or 4th incident in weeks. I still cant believe he got away with pushing a linesman.
Old Potato Head is being quite diplomatic & says it is done as far as Hull are concerned.
2 March 2014 at 12:25 am #127988Pardew says, “I will sit down from now on and send [assistant manager] John Carver out there!”
5 Nov 2006: Still at Upton Park, Pardew apologises to Wenger after excessively celebrating a winner against the Gunners.
3 Sep 2012: Now Newcastle manager, Pardew is fined £20,000 and given a two-match touchline ban for pushing assistant referee Peter Kirkup in a 2-1 win over Tottenham.
13 Jan 2014: The Magpies boss apologises after cameras capture him verbally abusing Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini.
And Carver is no better!
In 2002, during his first spell at Newcastle, he had a row with Arsenal’s Robert Pires after an FA Cup quarter-final.
Later that year had a bust-up with Laurent Robert after ordering the Frenchman to salute fans who had travelled to see Dynamo Kiev Champions League game.
In March 2003, he confronted referee Andy D’Urso with Newcastle players after 1-0 defeat at Middlesbrough.
And in 2004, he threw a chair at Craig Bellamy in an airport row ahead of a trip to Real Mallorca.
In 2009 he was fined by the MLS for slamming referee Tim Weyland when boss of Toronto.
Last season saw Carver aggressively having words with McManaman at half-time and he had to be held back from the Wigan player.
2 March 2014 at 12:34 am #127990No manager I detest more than “we wuz” Pardew. Hope he gets the book thrown at him.
2 March 2014 at 2:30 am #127996Smarminest tosspot on the planet. Always comes out and apologises and says I shouldn’t have done that…blah blah blah
Not seen it yet but would have enjoyed it more if Steve Bruce put the head on pardew cos that’s one massive head

Only one winner there
2 March 2014 at 3:52 am #128001Having seen it on MOTD he should be sacked IMO. Newcastle have fined him 100 grand but like savage said, how can he now discipline a player for doing something bad on the pitch when the manager who is supposed to set an example does something like that.
i was also angry seeing john carver finding the incident amusing. -
