The players in the main are good enough, its the prick that coaches and pretends to manage them who is in a division or two above his level.Possibly horc but with one of the lowest budgets in the division it’s no surprise we are one of the bottom clubs in the division.
Norwich go up with a Championship squad, sign nobody and are bottom of the Prem.

Normally stu I would agree 100 per cent but we are at the bottom because we have a shite manager who plays certain players who are not good enough makes substitutions at wrong times which has cost us so many points. I truly believe we would be a lot further up the table had we binned this gobshite months ago.
I certainly agree with his mistakes, he’s made several, but I feel as though some of our players almost mentally believe they aren’t good enough to be here. That is also possibly down to Cook and some of his comments to the press but I think the players would listen more to what he says in training than what he says to the Evening Post, but we look like a lower league team against a PL side in a cup tie.

Well there isn’t really anyone else we can play is there? Well, aside from the kids.
If you listen to Cook, i’m guessing you don’t as nobody else in the Cook out camp seems to, he admits we have a lack of quality but again, who else does he play?
Our budget, something else that people seem to struggle with, means we have to sign these types of players. It has always been the same. Unfortunately must of the players are failing to step up to this level added to the fact we’ve lost our best 2 players and haven’t replaced them.
Cook has made plenty of mistakes but the constant goings on that this squad would suddenly turn into a top side are laughable.

So who plays in place of Byrne, Dunkley, Robinson, Massey, Jacobs, Lowe to name a few?
I’d have to say that with everyone fully fit our best XI is:
Marshall
Sterling Kipre Fox Naismith
MacLeod Williams Dowell
Pilkington Garner Windass
Edit-forgot the everton lad
We talk about the gamble of whether we throw in the kids or not. Although a different era, back in the 80’s we had no option but to play the likes of David Lowe, Newell, Aspinall etc. All were kids & did very well for us. Peter Atherton Tankard etc in the 90’s.
With one of if not lowest budget in the Championship what options do we have ?,
Wait for injured players to come back ?,
Stick with what we have and hope it comes good ?,
New owners take a huge gamble and spend with no guarantee?,
Dip into the youth and try one or two ?,
Out those 4 options the only viable option is to try youth. Whether their good enough to add something different to the team we’ll only find out if we play them.
I know one thing, what they lack in experience they’ll more than make up for in effort something we desperately need.Were the true problem lies is with our manager who is not prepared to play them.
As I pointed out elsewhere Williams and Robinson are not much older than Crankshaw.
We haven’t got the time to sit on these young lads. Although it’s all abit sudden desperate times require desperate measures.
You only have Cooks word on “their not ready” but at this moment in time any verbal diarrhoea Cook comes out with I take with a huge block of rock salt.
1question for Cook:
How do you gain experience and improve as a player if you are never ready and not given a chance ?.
