1 November 2010 at 3:06 pm #49896£42.00 need I say anymore! … RidiculousCheaper than Chelsea innit? You going?
1 November 2010 at 3:13 pm #49899Will be doing I think mate you going ?
1 November 2010 at 3:23 pm #49901So you are moaning about the prices but are still going to pay the “ridiculous” ammount ?
Thats why prices wont ever come down in England onto a level like they are on the continent.
Fans moan about the prices yet still pay them. Shalke fans recently boycotted an away game at Dortmund because tickets were costing a massive 20euros, up from 13 euros the previous season. I cant ever see fans in England having the balls to do that.
FWIW i wont be going, unless my mates brother cant make it again and i get use of his season ticket in the Stretford End.
1 November 2010 at 3:28 pm #49903Fair point but because i’m at Uni and sometimes have to work when we play away I target away games to get to and this was one I can make. Wish I would have swapped the week for this weekend at Blackburn but the mrs bought us tickets to London for my birthday, which could quite easily have been changed for the weekend just gone, but women are clever and she knows if she had we would have been at craven cottage on saturday.
For a ground so close to us I can’t see many paying that price and going but its one of the away games I can make so thats why I will be going.
1 November 2010 at 5:12 pm #49916I’m going. For a good drinking sesh around Manchester before and after.
Besides, it might be a while before we go to O.T. again.

Is it not Billy dont be a hero ??
Also I cant understand why anyone would want to go to Old Trafford because it is like a morgue ! Apart from St Andrews it is the quietest ground I have ever been to despite them tonking us 4-0 !! :|2 November 2010 at 12:32 pm #49995:[/quote]

(despite being worst side)
Why do I want to go to Old Trafford? Because it’s the best stadium in the Premiership. The history, and all that. More than anything, to watch my team. I normally do Everton away, but I can’t do it this year as I’m doing a wedding and the money is too good to turn down. Plus, Goodison’s gone a bit stale in the ‘day out’ stakes. last year was just a damp squib, with a crap performance on the pitch and below par drinking off it.
So Manchester is getting the ‘Dave’s Day Out’ treatment this season. Into Manc early doors, brekky, several ales, some pre match food at Lou Macari’s (top place) and into Old Trafford. After match, back into Manc for more ale.And I don’t think we can call anybody’s ground for being quiet. The DW is hardly the Maracána, is it?
