Need to be giving a start to Ryan Colclough as he has the technical nonce to unpick stubborn defences.Agree the pitch wasn’t ideal and as I stated before Oldham have stopped shipping goals so I thought they would be a tough to crack. Another great chance gone against a bottom 3 side but hopefully just a blip .Thought McAleny looked lost ,hope we don’t have some stupid agreement with Everton to guarantee him pitch time.I for one think Vuckic unlucky to be sitting on the bench.Roll on next week and getting back in the groove.
Agree about the Everton lad but face it Oldham we’re just better than us.
They certainly didn’t look like they came for a nil nil. Actually we looked like we we’re looking for a nil nil. Grigg upfront on his own had no support whatsoever either from midfield or out wide resorting to having to come deep for the ball.
After scoring three at home four matches running we reverted back into the slow tempo boreing mode. Face it that was shit and we got out of that game what we deserved. Again after a superb win at Sheffield the team was tampered with but unlike last week the tinkering resulted in that performance.
Hand it to Oldham they worked hard and pushed forward at pace rather than at the snails pace we did and could have won it.
Keep the tempo up Gary and we will win games like this comfortably.I wouldn’t say that oldham were better than us at all donny, its just that we couldn’t break them down & fair play to ’em. I agree with you that grigg had no support, but again fair play to oldham for that.

The stats in the first half today were disgusting for a promotion hunting side at home. 56% of monotonous boring snails pace bilge play with one shot. Changes should have been made before half time.
Disgusting? What a stupid word to use. We had 4 home games on the bounce where we scored 3. Today was an off day. Disappointing yes. Below par yes. But disgusting? What a pathetic over reaction.
Won’t be long before morsey starts in the middle of midfield instead of run about a lot like the oppositions shadow perkins

We where shite today, you can butter it up any way you like it’s two points dropped, i’m getting a bit pissed off with Caldwells constant tinkering with the team and changing formations every half an hour, it looks well when Jussi got MOTM today at home to a team languishing at the bottom of the league, granted he did pull off a couple of good saves that speaks volumes for a totally inept and embarrassing performance from the out field players.
Was there anyone else on here walking over the canal bridge after the game, how did around 50+ Oldham lads get out of the stadium so quick to be mixed up with our fans? It’s a good thing that the coppers where on it, that could have been fun!
