Whilst i still believe we will survive, ive just noticed Villa play Chelsea in an early kick off the day of the cup final.
Has any team actually been relegated and won or lost the FA cup on the same day?
I can handle relegation but Jesus that would be one hell of a kick in the nuts a few hours before kick off. To say it would put a damper on the day would be quite an understatement. Same for the players. Lets hope it’s a not a piece of unwanted latics history.
Oh for Heaven’s sake! Write to the Guardian’s The Knowledge and ask, and leave us in peace to enjoy the day.
It could always work the other way and a Chelsea win makes us safe, giving the lads a much needed boost for an FA Cup Final triumph.
Won’t be too concerned about the prem that day what will be will be don’t think i will ever go to an fa cup final with my team again so i will be enjoying a once in a life time game :P
Don’t be so pessimistic.
If Roberto can get the 3rd worst team in the PL playing the most mind numbing boring football to the FA Cup Final I have every confidence that this could happen again.
With a more positive manager playing a more attacking game, we could even be thinking of a Champions League Final in years to come.
A bit more positivity is required on here.
