Says what??? In his first year he was just a little financial backing off taking us to the Premier League. A few Bob for a decent striker and we would have been up at first attempt.

Second year God knows what happened!!!A decent manager to start the season would have sorted us. Instead we got Coyle :evil:
It was announced on here that we were about to announce McLaren as manager…what happened to stop it at the last moment? Someone ask him tomorrow lol
In defence of Coyle he had the hardest of starts to a job. Relegation from the Greed League. A virtually new squad. Lots of games including Euro League. The football was no worse than Caldwell’s this year and his squad he brought in reached the cup semi final and play offs with Uses help.
We needed cut backs so went for cheapest option ._mclaren would have expected a war chest

No matter what he started with he ended up with a poor unfit squad.
