How long can we keep hold of him, 1 or 2 years, stay with us pal and then the world is your oyster with a FA cup champions/winners trophy on your resume :woohoo: .
We’ve debated this for a while now. Reckon he will get us up this season, keep us up next season and then move on :(
There is absolutely no doubt that clubs both here and abroad will be keeping a close eye on Uwe’s progress and if he takes us up or to the final again then the vultures will surely start to circle. :(
Can’t see anyone taking a punt on him yet. Martinez had a much better reputation prior to him coming to the club and though the turnaround has been impressive he has inherited a good squad of players. Would take at least another couple of seasons with us in the Prem to be offered a job worth leaving for. Still. If his current contract is due to end in 14 months might be an idea to get him to extend!

I know we were in the prem so opposition was harder, but still think Uwe is a better manager. Maybe he is not as nice a guy as Bob, but he possesses tactics and attacking football ideas.
